The Viking Cup Invitational Polo Tournament

The Tournament

The Viking Cup Tournament was inspired by the resounding success of Ramsey Crookall's annual private "Polo in the Park" event held annually at the beautiful Ballacooiley Equestrian Estate in Ballaugh since 2020.

In August 2023, Triskelion Polo Club, together with Ramsey Crookall, hosted the first-ever invitational polo tournament on the Isle of Man. Six teams from across the UK and the Isle of Man competed for the inaugural trophy.

The Tournament History

Each year has brought a new chapter, from the inaugural 2023 champions to dramatic finals, visiting clubs and growing local support. By 2026, the Viking Cup had reached its fourth staging, welcoming more than 800 spectators across the weekend and further establishing the tournament as a prestigious fixture in the Island’s summer calendar.
