The first-ever Viking Cup polo tournament was held on August 5th and 6th, 2023, at the Ballacooiley Equestrian Estate in Ballaugh. Teams from Shrewsbury Polo, Offchurch Bury Polo, and the Triskelion Polo Club of the Isle of Man gathered at the venue to participate in the island's inaugural premier invitational competition. The tournament ended with an exciting final on Sunday afternoon. Two teams competed for the inaugural title, with Offchurch Bury's Fiesta Del Asado White emerging victorious over Shrewsbury with a scoreline of 4-1.5, becoming the first-ever winners of the Viking Cup.
