Between the 1st & 3rd of August 2025, visiting teams from Dundee and Perth Polo Club in Scotland, Shrewsbury Polo Club in England, and the Isle of Man's Triskelion Polo Club gathered at the Ballacooiley Equestrian Estate in Ballaugh to compete in the Island's premier invitational polo event, "The Viking Cup." Organised by the Triskelion Polo Club in collaboration with Ramsey Crookall.

The tournament was attended by over 800 spectators throughout the three-day event, culminating in an exhilarating final on Sunday, where the local Triskelion polo teams Locate IOM and Ramsey Crookall faced off, with Locate IOM narrowly winning a close final, becoming the first local team to win the Viking Cup. They scored 7 goals to 6 against Ramsey Crookall, with Dundee and Perth finishing in third place.
