The Viking Cup 2026

The 2026 Viking Cup delivered another successful three days of polo, hospitality and entertainment at Ballacooiley Equestrian Estate, attracting more than 800 spectators and a noticeable increase in visitors from the UK. Hosted by Triskelion Polo Club in conjunction with Ramsey Crookall, the tournament brought together teams from the Isle of Man and the UK for the fourth staging of the event.​ R&R Polo claimed the 2026 Viking Cup after a dramatic 2 goals to 1½ victory over Locate IOM, scoring both of their goals in the closing minutes of the fourth chukka. Locate IOM also enjoyed success by winning the Mammoth Tooth Trophy.

The weekend included Corporate Day, a sold-out Ladies’ Day and Finals Day, with live entertainment from the Blue Vannin Jazz Band and John Bolton. The event also raised approximately £12,000 for Hospice Isle of Man and Mannin Cancers Help Centre, further strengthening the Viking Cup’s place in the Isle of Man’s summer calendar.
