For the fourth time, the Triskelion Polo Club will host the Isle of Man's premier invitational polo tournament, The Viking Cup, from Friday, July 31st, to Sunday, August 2nd, 2026. This year's three-day schedule is set to provide another exciting fourth instalment of this now popular fixture in the Manx summer social calendar. The visiting teams from the UK, together with the Isle of Man's Triskelion Polo Club, will converge at the beautiful Ballacooiley Equestrian Estate and bring together a fine selection of players, displaying their horsemanship, skillfulness, and masterful ball control, promising to be a unique spectacle.

Corporate Day

Kicking off on Friday, 31 July, the tournament features an exclusive Viking Cup Corporate Day. This event provides businesses with the opportunity to entertain clients and colleagues with a reception, a sumptuous lunch accompanied by a selection of wines, and afternoon tea in a vibrant social atmosphere with live jazz music.

Ladies Day

Saturday 1st August marks the much-anticipated Ladies’ Day, proudly in support of Mannin Cancers Help Centre, and it promises to be the most glamorous and memorable yet, with a full day of thrilling polo paired with an elegant sit-down sumptuous lunch in a vibrant social atmosphere with live jazz followed by a DJ into the early evening.
Ladies’ Day is your excuse to dress to impress. Guests are encouraged to showcase their finest summer style, with Mannin Cancers Help Centre awarding prizes for the Best-Dressed Lady and Best-Dressed Man

Finals
Sunday 2nd August / 12:00 - 17:00
Sunday culminates the Viking Cup weekend with Finals Day, the tournament's highlight. After three days of fiercely contested matches, the top two teams will compete at Ballacooiley for an exciting showdown to win the sought-after Viking Cup trophy.
Enjoy free entry to the polo field all day, offering a great chance to experience top-quality polo in a relaxed and friendly setting.
Expect fast-paced action, excellent horsemanship, and a lively atmosphere, with a licensed bar on-site, along with local food and drinks.
Set against stunning surroundings and suitable for all ages, Finals Day is a key event in the Isle of Man’s summer calendar and not to be missed.
Additional Event Information

General Admission:
General polo field admission is Free however, you will not have access to the VIP Main Marquee, and any activities related to the VIP Ticket holders.
Food
Food and ice cream trucks will be available throughout the event for players and General Admission ticket holders
Drink
The license bar will be available for general admission, ticket holders and players.
Please note that this event operates under a liquor licence; guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol.
Parking
Parking is provided as a convenience to attendees. The event organizers, hosts, sponsors, and venue owners accept no responsibility or liability for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to vehicles or their contents while parked on or near the event premises. All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. Attendees are responsible for ensuring their vehicles are legally parked and properly secured.
Bus Transport
Bus transportation from the Douglas will be provided on Friday and Saturday. Tickets cost £10 per person and can be purchased online through Eventbrite. The bus schedules are listed below.

On Friday, 31st July - Corporate Day, buses will leave Douglas Sea Terminal at 11:30am and return at 4:30pm

On Saturday, 1st August - Ladies Day, buses will leave Douglas Sea Terminal at 1:30pm and return at 6:30pm
