Between the 2nd & 4th of August 2024, visiting teams from the Dundee and Perth Polo Club in Scotland, Shrewsbury Polo Club in England, and the Isle of Man's Triskelion Polo Club gathered at the Ballacooiley Equestrian Estate in Ballaugh to compete in the Island's premier invitational polo tournament, "The Viking Cup".

The tournament was attended by over 750 spectators throughout the three-day event, culminating in an exhilarating final on Sunday the 4th, where Scotland’s Dundee and Perth Polo Club emerged as the victors of the 2024 Viking Cup, scoring 7 goals to 3 over England’s Shrewsbury Polo Club, who were runners-up for the second time.
