The Viking Cup
Inspired by the resounding success of Ramsey Crookall's annual private "Polo in the Park" event, the Triskelion Polo Club, together with Ramsey Crookall, hosted the first Viking Cup in August 2023, where six teams from across the UK and the Isle of Man complete it for the inaugural trophy, captivating both avid polo enthusiasts. This event was the first-ever invitational polo tournament to be hosted on the Isle of Man.
2025 Viking Cup
The Triskelion Polo Club will host the Isle of Man's premier invitational polo tournament for the third time in 2025. The tournament will be held from Friday, August 1st, to Sunday, August 3rd, 2025, from 12pm to 5pm.
The Venue
The Viking Cup polo tournament is held annually at the beautiful Ballacooiley Equestrian Estate in Ballaugh on the west coast of the Isle of Man. This equestrian estate boasts world class polo fields with spectacular views of the Manx countryside and Snaefell mountain.
The Tournament
The Viking Cup aims to promote the captivating and majestic game of polo on the Isle of Man and attract local and international visitors. This event is tailored to both young and old, novice or enthusiast, and to provide an enjoyable, fun-filled, culturally rich family day out with the very best the Isle of Man has to offer.
